A free, no-obligation 30-minute call to talk through the work, what I will need from you, and any examples or designs you want to use as influence.
Deposit
A deposit, based on the scope we estimate, secures your slot and covers the design work. It is credited in full against the final fee once we proceed to build.
Mock-ups
I come back with designs and we work on them together — up to five rounds of changes — until we land on something you genuinely love.
Estimate & fee
Once the design is agreed, you get a delivery-date estimate and a fee. With that signed off, work begins.

How much will my website cost?
Bespoke sites start from £1500. That is purely the build. Your domain and any hosting are paid directly to the providers at cost, often close to nothing for a simple site. Apps, products and anything larger are quoted once we have scoped them together.
How long does it take?
Most small-business sites go from agreed design to live in a few weeks. You get a delivery date before any build work starts, and an agreed date I drive to.
Do I actually own it?
Yes, outright. The code, the domain and the accounts are all in your name from day one. No lock-in and no hostage hosting, so you can walk away whenever you like.
Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. Everything is explained in plain English, you get full handover notes, and if you would rather not touch the running of it I can manage it all for you.
What if I do not like the design?
You approve the mock-ups before any build begins, with up to five rounds of changes until you genuinely love it. The deposit covers the design stage and is credited in full against the final fee once we proceed.
What are the ongoing costs?
Just your domain and hosting, often very low and paid straight to the providers. No monthly fee to me: changes are pay as you go, from £20 for a simple content change up to £200-plus for a large redesign, and nothing the rest of the time.
Will people actually be able to find my site?
Yes. Being found is part of the build, not an add-on. Every site launches with the full checklist handled: domain and DNS, hosting with free SSL, UK GDPR and cookie consent, analytics, and SEO built in from the first line of code. It is also structured so AI assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity can read and recommend it, which is where more and more customers now search.
Why not just use WordPress or Squarespace?
Hand-built sites load faster, are more secure, are fully yours to own, and are shaped around your business instead of a template everyone else is also using.
Where are you based and who will I deal with?
UK-based, and you deal directly with me, the person actually building it. No account managers, no outsourcing and no support queue.
